I'm Still... Casting Homeward

“There is a great deal about living that rivers can teach us. They teach us how to bend and flow over, under, and around obstacles. Rivers know that the form and function that they embody today might not be the same tomorrow. Rivers understand that change is as inevitable as it is magical. They adapt and re-create themselves in such a manner that no matter the circumstances encountered, they remain true to their original nature – they continue to flow.”

~ Steve Ramirez, Casting Homeward

If there is any "downside" to being a prolific writer and perpetual world wilderness traveler it might be that with all that movement and gathering moments I can find myself never allowing for the stillness required to look in my rearview mirror.

That's the problem with living life like it's one long mysterious road trip... the miles slip by beneath whatever you're riding, and the horizon of sunshine or storm clouds can take up all your attention.

Casting Homeward seemed like an impossible journey when I first conceived it, but like all my "impossible journeys" the universe finds a way to make them possible. And so I traveled from Alaska to New England and points in between and before I knew it, the words came to me, tumbled onto the pages and out to the bookstores both brick and mortar and zeros and ones.

This is a beautiful book with original artwork by BobWhite Studio and a timely and meaningful storyline throughout.

You don't ever have to cast a fly-line to find joy, hope, and meaning from these stories of Nature and The Best of Human Nature.

I hope you will choose to read it and perhaps share it as a gift with people you care about.

Writers need Readers.

Books need Love.

And I'm wishing you and us - Nothing but Love.

Keep Casting Forward Y'all...
